  • Go-bar(s) -- A flexible piece of wood used to apply pressure for clamping while gluing one piece of wood to another within two solid points.

  • Grand-length keys -- As opposed to shorter keys, such as those used in a spinet, grand-length keys are longer in order to have more control over them. They have more leverage, can be balanced more precisely and a more even downweight can be achieved.
  • Grand piano -- Any piano with a double repeating action where the hammers strike the strings from the underside of the strings.
